We love birds, and we want to share these wonderful, intelligent creatures with you! There are so many types of birds, from the smallest brightly-colored finch to the clever parrots, that there is probably a bird that could fit into your lifestyle.
The small bird species such as finches and canaries are wonderful “look only” pets who share their gentle beauty and songs while flitting around a flight cage. Check out our exotic finches, such as Lady Gouldians, Cordon Bleus, Weavers, and Parrot finches which are seldom available for sale anywhere else.
The little wild parakeet, although traditionally not hand-tamed, is easy to train and is a delightful companion.
Among the “hand-fed”, super tame varieties of birds, we carry many of the best choices. We have cockatiels, parrotlets, Bourke’s parakeets, Senegal & Myers parrots, African greys, Amazons, Severe Macaws, Alexandrians and other loving “bonded” birds. We finish the hand-feeding process ourselves, so that the baby bird you take home is socialized to the high-activity level of the store and ready to take on new experiences. You will notice that we only have a few hand-fed birds at any given time, so that each bird gets lots of individual attention. Our breeders also believe in small quantities, so we only have the birds they have available at the time....we do not buy birds from “mass-producers”.
